Tracy Hepworth is a driven leader who has spent over 25 years of in the corporate accounting and financial management world.

Ms. Hepworth began her career in 1992 articling with Deloitte & Touche, where she obtained her professional accounting designation and rose to a senior audit level position. She then joined Heartland Livestock Services (formerly part of Viterra) where she assumed progressively senior positions as the organization diversified into aquaculture, feed and hog operations. As the Corporate Controller of the Heartland Group of companies, she supervised accounting staff over diverse geographic locations and systems, was responsible for all consolidated reporting and was the senior-most liaison between Heartland’s banks, investors and the Securities Commission.

Ms. Hepworth joined FCC as Manager, Corporate Accounting in 2002. She spent time as Executive Manager for both the CFO and CEO. In 2013, she took on her current role as Vice-President, Internal Audit, where she is responsible for the functions that provide independent and objective assurance, advice and insight to strengthen FCC’s risk management, corporate governance and operational effectiveness.

Ms. Hepworth holds of Bachelor of Administration degree from the University of Regina and is a Chartered Professional Accountant. She also earned her Audit Committee Certified designation from the Directors College – a joint venture between McMaster University and The Conference Board of Canada – and her Certified Internal Auditor designation. She spent many years on the Board of the Mackenzie Infant Care Centre and is an active volunteer on the IIA Saskatchewan Chapter Board, currently serving as Chapter President.

Ms. Hepworth was born and raised in Regina. She and her husband have two children, who keep them busy. In her free time, she enjoys being with family, physical exercise, gardening, walking her two basset hounds and being in the great outdoors.
