30 Years of Ethical Dilemmas: Lessons Learned
Sometimes the best learning opportunities come from looking back at our past experiences. When it comes to reflecting on past ethical dilemmas, the range of situations is beyond imagination. In this presentation, Brian will summarize his observations from 30 years of investigating, monitoring, and advising on ethics to provide practical lessons, with real-life examples, to assist each of us as we support our organizations in their ethics journey.
While ethics does not necessarily fall within the CAE’s/Internal Auditors’ scope of responsibilities, as one of the Board report-directs, internal audit is uniquely placed to provide the Board and Senior Management with information on ethical behaviours including the Board’s and Senior Management’s. This presentation will cover a broad range of ethical dilemmas that will include relevant issues for internal audit and others in leadership positions.
